Literally woke up with this thought in my mind. I added to it after daylight.

AI is simply the commoditization of labor by capitalists. They are just trying to drive down their input costs to drive up their earnings (profits). At its core, AI is just automation, but on steroids.
The narrative of artifical intelligence is the messaging that is required to:
- Diffuse criticism until it is too late. At some point, enough mass will have been built that it can’t be reversed, much less stopped.
- Raise gargantuum sums of money to afford the build out prior to a sincere financial analysis being conducted
I need to sit and ponder this a bit more before it becomes a blog post.
